his bike, and this weekend
the Little Football Fan and his friends
will be pretending to be on
the Tour de France because
the Grand Depart of the world's
most prestigious stage race
will be
hosted by Yorkshire
as the Tour de France returns to England
for the
first time since 2007.
Saturday 5 July's opening stage
takes the 198 riders
from Leeds to Harrogate
via the Yorkshire Dales while Sunday's
second
stage will see the peloton ride
from York to Sheffield, via Holme Moss
before a third stage in England,
finishing on The Mall in London.
